QUICK TAKEAWAYS:
Global Consulting Organization is a Project-Starting Firm that fuels our industry’s future with limitless innovation to comprehensively shape movement across Real Estate Developments.
GCO launches Projects with a Unified Creative Vision that embraces possibilities for an era yet to manifest so that the Developments of the Future can ultimately achieve their Highest and Best Use.
GCO is focused here and now on the Development Projects of 2030 & Beyond because today’s imaginative concepts will become the future realities that connect us through the Built Environment.
Smartwatches. 3-D printed food. Hoverboards.
These once futuristic concepts have taken shape in our lives today with varied and increasing popularity. They also all share a common lineage: The Jetsons.
Years before Neil and Buzz won the space race and took a giant leap for mankind, American families were introduced to George and Jane Jetson. The Jetsons’ seemingly far-fetched cartoon future introduced high-tech fashions and vehicles and presented space travel as commonplace, well before we sent our first man to the moon.
The Jetsons using video chat and traveling by jetpack were things of imagination that creators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera let themselves envision without obligation to stick with the status quo.
Much of The Jetsons’ world has transcended cartoonish possibility to become our reality, and some of its ideas have progressed so much that they are taken for granted today. And so is The Jetsons, in a way. Its success lay not in the show’s limited run of three seasons but in its ability to inspire ideas for a future yet to manifest without being limited to the concepts of the time in which it was created.
“The Jetsons provided an innovative, novel picture of The Future. Global Consulting Organization endeavors to be that same kind of catalyst for our Industry by making creativity indispensable in a NEW ERA of Real Estate Development.”
As a Project-Starting Firm, GCO provides a platform to connect and share the groundbreaking concepts that will power the Future of Real Estate. Just as Hanna, Barbera, and the rest of The Jetsons writing room unabashedly imagined a new kind of living in Orbit City, our NEW stakeholder category in the Real Estate Development Cycle is RE-Imagining project possibilities that will eventually become the standards for Live-Work-Play Communities in 2030 & Beyond.
As we shared in our article on The Collective, we are a team of creatives, united from inside and outside of the Real Estate Industry, who are FREE to bring our individual ideas and visions forward for the greater good (of Humankind). The Collective cultivates cooperation and understanding among stakeholders to bring about the innovations of tomorrow, today.
More than producing concepts and innovations for the tactile and physical, GCO prioritizes the Human Experience when Visioning-Branding-Marketing the Neighborhoods, Communities, and Cities of 2030 & Beyond. The inclusion, connection, and harmony we seek to promote through the Built Environment are on full display in another trendsetting work of science fiction - James Cameron’s $2.8 billion-earning Avatar, which is set to become a full-fledged franchise when it releases more iterations over the coming decade.
Avatar’s world-building rises above the tropes of futuristic technology and alien civilizations to focus on the power of a truly United Community through the characters of the Na’vi. The Na’vi work in balance with each other and their environment through cooperative spirit and heartfelt connection. Using collective strength and action, they elevate their humanity and are ultimately powerful enough to overcome the story’s antagonist and save the Na’vi’s home planet of Pandora in the film’s third act.
“Our work at GCO is forged by the common purpose that the Built Environment in 2030 & Beyond can rejuvenate our common connections and enhance the human experience.”
The work to ensure that Real Estate Development Projects in 2030 and Beyond truly enhance the Human Experience must START NOW because the research is clear. The time for Collective Vision to take hold and strongly contribute to REAL population-level change can be up to 20 years, according to the Stanford Social and Innovation Review. There is NO TIME to waste.
Just as all that Avatar’s Jake Sully “wanted was something worth fighting for,” GCO is ready to champion a collective passion in our industry that WILL TRANSFORM THE POSSIBILITIES of today into new realities that better connect and SERVE HUMANITY in the Future.
Cheers to 2030 & Beyond . . .
